A Holo alternative that runs your social media from your iPhone

Updated

Holo (tryholo.ai) made a simple promise popular: paste your website and let AI run your marketing. Vidpop starts from the same place and goes a different way. Holo covers ads, social posts, emails and SEO blog posts from a web dashboard. Vidpop focuses on social media and does it from an app on your iPhone, with three designed carousels a week and a free trial before you pay. If social posts are the job you want off your plate, this page shows how the two compare.

What is Holo?

Holo is an AI marketing tool used in a web browser. You paste your website, and it builds a brand profile it calls Brand DNA. From that it drafts ads, social posts, emails and SEO blog posts, schedules them, and asks you to approve. Its site describes the result as a month of content planned and scheduled for you.

Holo's pricing page, checked in September 2026, lists two plans. Starter is $29 a month billed monthly, or $12 a month billed every six months, with 125 creations a month and one brand workspace. Scale is $59 a month billed monthly, or $29 a month billed every six months, with 325 creations and three brand workspaces. Two credits make one creation. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

On a free trial, Holo's FAQ answers plainly: no. Its pricing page says refunds are possible within 7 days if credits are unused.

Why people look for a Holo alternative

  • No free trial. You pay before you see a single post made for your business.
  • No iPhone app. Holo's site lists no mobile app; you sign in at app.tryholo.ai in a browser. If you manage your business from your phone, that is an extra step every time.
  • Credits to count. Two credits make one creation, and your plan sets how many creations you get a month.
  • More than you may need. Ads, emails and SEO blog posts are useful for some businesses. If you only want your Instagram and Facebook looked after, you pay for a wider tool.
  • Price depends on the billing term. The lowest Starter price needs six months paid at once; month to month it is $29.

How Vidpop runs your week

Setup is short. Give Vidpop your website or App Store link, or answer six questions and add a few photos. It works out what you sell and who buys it.

Then Autopilot plans three carousels for the week. Each one is designed with 5 to 7 slides at 1080x1350, in one of eight formats such as tips, myth vs fact, steps, FAQ and before-and-after. Each gets its own caption. Post for Me publishes them to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn at the scheduled time.

The controls are on your phone. Turn on "Ask me first" and nothing posts until you approve it; your first week always waits for you. Re-make a post, undo to the earlier version, edit a caption, keep or pass on ideas, or ask for more posts like one you liked. A note to Autopilot steers next week.

Outside the plan, Create with AI turns a short description into a caption, an image post or a carousel. On Pro, you also get a UGC video ad each week, where an AI presenter delivers an AI-written script in a vertical video up to 30 seconds long.

Who Vidpop is for

Vidpop fits the owner who wants Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn handled and spends the day on an iPhone. You want to try it on your own business before paying, and you like the idea of approving the week in a few minutes from your phone.

It suits cafes, shops, clinics, coaches, app makers and service businesses that need to show up every week with posts that look designed. You don't have to learn a dashboard, count credits, or pick a billing term to get the lowest price.

Two things to know before you start. Vidpop is iPhone only, with no Android or web version. And carousels are written in English for now; video ads can be in Arabic.

Switching from Holo to Vidpop

  1. 01Install Vidpop on your iPhone and start the 3-day Starter trial.
  2. 02Give it the same website you gave Holo, or answer the six setup questions.
  3. 03Connect Instagram (Business or Creator account) and your Facebook Page with Post for Me.
  4. 04Turn on "Ask me first" and review your first week of carousels.
  5. 05Once you are happy with Vidpop's posts, cancel Holo from its settings so the two don't post on the same days.
